Students will learn the location of keys of the keyboard. Students will learn to read the notes on the grand staff (treble staff and bass staff). They will start with Middle C and expand to F below Middle C and G above Middle C. Students will learn to count rhythms with quarter notes, half notes, whole notes, eighth notes, and dotted half and quarter notes. Students will play pieces in 4/4 time and 3/4 time.
