This class is designed to be very specific to your learner’s academic needs. Prior to the class YOU tell ME what areas of reading they need to strengthen on. I teach to that academic need using research-based strategies. This class is designed specifically for reading decoding words to build reading fluency. This class is strategically designed for 2 or 3 students to assure that your child gets one-on-one instruction We will work on segmenting words by diagraphs, vowel teams, r-controlled vowels, and word families to name a few. I have multiple research-based strategies that will support common misconceptions for reading. We will build and read words. Following that, we will read a passage that matches the decoding skill they are struggling with.
Learning Goals
I will use research-based strategies to intervene and address their specific area of struggle .
