Class experience
This class is a follow up to Part I of Beginning Flute Using the Young Flute Player. This book emphasizes the low register of the flute, thus making it easier for beginners to start the flute at an early age. The music includes familiar folk songs and pieces plus scales and arpeggios (usually in five note scales). Part II will expand the student's knowledge of the F and G major scales. Students will learn new time signatures such as 6/8 and new rhythms like sixteenth notes. Week 1 -...

Homework Offered
