Intermediate Level
Does your child love music? Do they love classic genres like Appalachian Bluegrass or other of the like? Do they want to explore new ways of playing the violin? This might be their next favorite course on Outschool. In this self-paced course, your child will learn the foundational basics of bluegrass fiddle music through its musical form, infamous bluegrass instrumentation techniques, and more. This course is designed for the intermediate violin student. You should have a proficient grasp of musical notation, reading the treble clef and basic rhythms. The essence of this self-paced class lends itself well to your student stopping the video to practice different techniques or rewind to see or hear something again to gain a greater understanding. The link to the song, Cripple Creek, is provided for you. I recommend printing this out and having it in front of you while you are viewing the course video.
