In this ongoing class, your child will learn long and short vowels and 13 digraphs to boost their reading skills. Through reading practice, games, and fun songs, your child will have a blast learning to read. In addition to beginner reading skills, your child will also learn to take turns and encourage classmates while participating in this class. Below is an overview of what your child will learn each week:

Week of June 10th: Short Vowels
Week of June 17th: Long Vowels
Week of June 24th: "Magic E" 
Week of July 1st: Two vowel words
Week of July 8th: Ch and Sh digraphs
Week of July 15th: Bl. Cl, and Gl digraphs
Week of July 22nd: Fl, Sl, and Pl digraphs
Week of July 29th: Th, Wh digraphs
Week of August 5th: Gr, Tr, and Pr digraphs

This is an ongoing class where new concepts are introduced each without building on the previous lesson. This allows you the opportunity to exit and rejoin the class when needed. Missed a lesson? No problem! After completing the nine weeks of this class, it begins again and covers all the same material from before.
