In this one-time class, students will learn how to start a YouTube channel. In this course, students will explore the reasons why they want a YouTube channel, and develop a plan for starting a YouTube channel.

Class Experience

In this one-time class, students will learn how to start a YouTube channel.  In this course, students will explore the reasons why they want a YouTube channel.  We will explore some specific channels and look at the different sections.  We will discuss privacy and all of the elements of creating a YouTube channel.  Students will come up with a plan for starting their channel and naming it.  We will end the lesson with an interactive activity.

Please Note: Students will not be uploading YouTube videos in this class.

In addition to Zoom, we will be using Nearpod for our lessons.  It is recommended that students bring another device to use (tablet, mobile phone, another computer).  I will be sharing my screen on Zoom and they can interact with the lesson on another device.  If students don’t have access to another device, they can still interact in chat or use the browser on the computer/phone to pull up Nearpod.  I will send instructions to everyone who enrolls.
