In this multi-day course, students will go through the process of customizing their YouTube channels. Students will create a detailed channel description with keywords and complete the customization worksheet. Students will create a profile picture, YouTube banner, and watermark for their channels. They will also create a channel trailer and featured video and add featured sections to their channels. Please Note: it’s recommended that students take “Beginners Guide to Setting up and...
Students will learn how to add basic settings to their channels. Students will learn how to create videos and branding for their channels.
Before taking this course, you should have already created a YouTube channel for your child. Please refer to this link https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/1646861?hl=en. If a YouTube channel is not created by the start of class, I will have to transfer your child to another section. Additionally, parents will need to create an account at https://www.canva.com in order to use it during class. The Nearpod instructions will be posted in the classroom about 2 hours before class.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
