- Students will learn vocabulary and sentence structure related to basic concepts in the target language, while building confidence in their speaking abilities.
I hold my bachelor's degree in Spanish and have taken numerous education courses. I am an ELE (teaching Spanish as a foreign language) certified teacher. I have had the opportunity to experience the cultures of various Spanish speaking countries. While living abroad in Costa Rica, I completed advanced coursework in grammar, literature, composition, and conversation. Before staying home to raise my own children, I taught high school Spanish I, II, and III. I pride myself on making content interactive and engaging, so that students retain the material and desire to learn more!
Hands on activities and/or vocabulary lists will be available to print prior to classes. I will post all resources needed for the week in the classroom at the beginning of the week. You will need a pencil, something to color with (crayons, markers, etc), scissors, and a glue stick.
