Want to learn to Japanese? We will learn to speak and write Japanese through Studio Ghibli's anime, the most iconic and influential anime around the world. Learners can also to share Japanese they've learned from their favorite anime.
Class Experience
Beginner Level
**OVERVIEW** Studio Ghibli is iconic in Japanese culture. It is equivalent to Disney in the U.S. If anyone is to learn about Japan or visit Japan one day, they NEED TO know about Studio Ghibli! **STRUCTURE** This interactive class is tailored for students who are new to Japanese language and culture. Throughout the course, we will learn vocabulary words and sentences from Studio Ghibli films. In the 3rd class of every unit, learners will be able to share about their favorite anime and...
- For each class, students will learn 10 basic vocabulary words that will fit into a sentence structure so that students will be able to answer a question in Japanese.
I acquired the Japanese language and culture through my upbringing in a Japanese household.

A report card can be provided within a week of completing the final exam upon request.
Bring something to write with and write on to take notes. A small dry erase board and markers if students cannot write on the screen (we will be writing Japanese characters together).
