This beginner grammar class is designed for students in grades 3-5 who are eager to build a solid foundation in grammar. Meeting once a week for 20 minutes, this course introduces essential grammar concepts in a short, fun and engaging way. Students will learn about the parts of speech, punctuation, sentence structure, and how to form simple, clear sentences. Through interactive lessons and short activities, students will develop the skills they need to become confident writers and communicators.

Each week will discuss a different grammar concept and students are welcome to come and go as they please.

Each class will include print-outs that will be posted at least 24hrs in advance of the class. I will use a slideshow to demonstrate grammar concepts and students will have many opportunities to practice these concepts, ask questions, and master the grammar skill. I will also provide optional homework for students to complete and will give feedback within 24hrs if submitted.
