Beginner Level
Are you eager to give your preschooler a head-start in a foreign language? Do they enjoy preschool activities such as read-alouds, show and tell, and games? Come and join me in this immersive preschool experience! In this class, we will do basic preschool activities in French. I will be speaking only in French in the videos I record except for instances like giving instructions or feedback. There will be no live meetings, but students will watch videos that I have pre-recorded, as well as submitting work to me. This class will follow the same pattern every week. I will respond to any work submitted to me. There will be a video introducing the topic and the main vocabulary through conversation between two characters. There will also be a video of my reading a book. There will be a craft or enrichment activity every week. Finally, each week, students will have a show and tell related to the theme.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been learning French for 9 years now, from French 1 - French 5 as well as 4 years of immersion French classes. I am conversationally fluent and at a C1 level. I have tutored French immersion from May 2020 through August 2020 when the French immersion school near us closed for quarantine, and I've been teaching French online for two years.
I also continue to take French lessons with native speakers, and I am working towards my Bachelors in French, which includes classes in advanced French immersion, French literature, and French education. I attended a 7-week summer French immersion camp through Middlebury College.
I also have my certification in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), the principles from which I apply to my French classes.
