In France, food is an enormous part of culture; the French love to eat and cook good food! 
In this course we will learn vocabulary for food items as well as the different locations where you can purchase these items in France. We will learn how to ask for these items, pay for these items, and talk about how you are going to cook your meal. 
Week 1: We will learn vocabulary and practice using that vocabulary in conversation. 
Week 2: We will apply the vocabulary we learned in week 1 to two different French recipes. 
Week 3: We will talk about how we are going to cook each meal, using the vocabulary we learned in the other two sessions, and with a brief lesson on present tense verbs in this context. 
Students should have a very basic knowledge of beginner French: They should be able to introduce themselves, say how they are today, and count to 20.
