In this one week summer camp, aspiring cheerleaders will begin each class by stretching along with the coach, and learn why stretching before activity is important. They will then learn cheerleading motions and play a game for practice. After that, learners will be taught cheers, jumps, kicks, and/or a dance. See the following schedule for more detailed information: Day 1: Stretch, Motions, Game (High V, Low V, Punch and Clap), Cheer (x2), Kicks Day 2: Stretch, Motions, Game (Little Sally Walker), Cheer, Jumps, Dance Day 3: Stretch, Motions, Game (Simon Says), Cheer, Dance Day 4: Stretch, Motions, Game (Go Bananas!), End of camp showcase! My teaching and classes have been described as fun, engaging, friendly, and exciting. I teach and preform all of the skills with the learners and make everyone feel seen and successful. Other Details
Parental Guidance
Learners will be partaking in physical activity. Please note that injuries may occur if not supervised by an adult. Learners will NOT be learning pyramids or tumbling. Jumps and kicks have potential to cause injury if learners do not stretch properly together at the beginning of class. Please be sure your learner has a water bottle. Inform the teacher before class if your learner has a physical disability.
Supply List
Learners may bring pom poms if they have them, but they are not required! Tennis shoes and appropriate clothing (shorts, or pants, and a t-shirt) are required Water bottle

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
