Students collect pronunciation., focusing on communication with Grammar skills. Using chapters 1–12 of the Genki textbook, students will build a strong foundation in speaking, reading, writing, and listening. ★Class Experience Students will learn through structured lessons based on each chapter of the Genki textbook. Each class will focus on grammar points, vocabulary, and practice exercises from the chapter, with ample time for interactive group conversation to enhance speaking skills. Writing and reading will include practice with Hiragana, (sometimes Katakana, and basic Kanji). ★My teaching style emphasizes active participation, encouraging students to speak frequently in Japanese in a supportive environment. Classes include role-playing exercises, to make learning fun and engaging. Visual aids like slides and video clips will supplement instruction, helping students better understand concepts. ★Students will have multiple opportunities to interact with peers in Japanese. Parental Guidance
This class is designed for students aged 14 to 18 who wish to learn Japanese. Japanese is considered one of the more challenging languages in the world, especially due to its grammar and pronunciation. In this class, we will focus on actively speaking and
understanding grammar with a teammate(my classmate ) while also balancing listening, writing, and reading practice.
However, since students may find it difficult to immerse themselves in a Japanese-speaking environment outside of class, we recommend attending lessons twice a week for at least three months to build a foundation that allows for basic conversational skills. This approach is based on my experience teaching students effectively.
No content class would be upsetting or inappropriate. However, parents should note that learning Japanese requires focus and consistent effort. I appreciate your support in encouraging your child as they take on this rewarding challenge. Arigato
