Listening is an essential skill when learning a new language! In this class, children will have the opportunity to practice their listening skills while relaxing and preparing for bed. A famous English-language children's book or bedtime story will be shared during each session. In addition to improving their listening skills, children will grow in their understanding of culturally popular books in America. Example bedtime stories include: "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" "And to Think That I Saw it on Mulberry Street" "The Giving Tree" "Where the Wild Things Are"
Learning Goals
Students will grow their listening skills and expand their knowledge of American culture by listening to a famous American bedtime story.
