In this class, parents play a crucial role in ensuring their child's participation and success. Prior to the start of the course, parents are responsible for ensuring that their child's Minecraft Gamertag is shared with the teacher. This allows the teacher to invite the student to multiplayer games and track their progress throughout the class.

Additionally, parents must ensure that their child has the latest update of Minecraft downloaded on their device. This ensures compatibility with the multiplayer features and allows for a seamless gaming experience during class sessions. Furthermore, parents are responsible for ensuring that their child has and is logged into a Microsoft account. This account is necessary for joining multiplayer games and accessing online features within Minecraft.
