Becoming a Super Summarizer: Detecting the Main Idea and Recalling Key Details
In this one time introductory class, students will become super summarizers as they learn what questions to ask when reading in order to learn how to recall key details and find the main idea.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn to ask and answer such questions as who, what, where, when, why, and how to demonstrate understanding of key details in the text.
I have an English and Education degree with extensive education experience inside and outside of the classroom.
A handout will be provided as a guide in answering our "W" questions. Students are welcome to print it out before the class or use it as a reference for future classes.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
