In my classroom students will close gaps that they may have in Math. Math consist of building blocks, so when a piece of the foundation is broken it makes it very difficult to grasp new concepts. The topics vary based on the scholar needs, I am here to meet my scholar where he or she is. My class is structed around building scholars to be mathematical problem solvers, where they can use the tools given to become successful. I will teach using manipulatives, modeling, and scaffolding my scholars by providing some productive struggle. Scholars will have mathematical discussion, participate in games that help enhance learning, and so much more.
