We will begin with a story called "Sky, Trees, and Ground: A Book About Handwriting". We will learn how writing lines can be correlated with those points of reference in nature. We will learn the correct size and position of each letter, both upper and lowercase, as well as the proper formation of each. We will undertake approximately 10 letters each day with demonstrations and hands-on practice on the writing pages provided. This approach is one I designed as a classroom teacher and is one that kids readily connect with and respond to very well. Learning Goals
Students will improve their printed handwriting of each alphabet letter, both upper and lowercase with respect to size, position, and correct formation.

A writing paper with the appropriately designed lines will be provided and should be printed prior to each lesson.
