US Grade 3 - 5
Learners should read the novel "Because of Winn-Dixie" and watch the entire movie before our meeting. Our discussion will focus on our impression of the screen version of our book. We will compare our vision for the characters, the setting, and the story to the producer's vision. We'll also share what we loved and didn't love about the screen version of this book. I am a 4th grade English Language Arts and Reading teacher in Texas. I do a novel study with my class over this novel each year!
