I have always struggled with testing anxiety! I am extensively trained in social emotional learning. Each year, the school district I work for provides us with specific training for social emotional learning! I also work hand and hand with my schools student advocate to create an inclusion club where we discuss mental health and inclusion, so I am used to having these tough conversations. I have also been a teacher for 4 school years and every Friday we do social emotional Friday. Where we discuss emotions, grades, mental health, and everything that is going on in our lives, so that I can make my students feel heard. Social Emotional learning is one of my key passions.

I am a certified secondary education teacher. I am certified to work with students from the 7th grade all the way up to 12th grade. I have been in the middle school setting now for 4 years, but have a lot of training with the high school setting as well as I work closely with some passed students as they flourish in high school. I also did teach 2 high school courses during my student teaching, so I do have a lot of practice with high school aged as well as middle school aged students.
