In this class, we will learn fun facts about the black bears that live in Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee. *How many bears live in the Smoky Mountains? *What do they eat? *Where do they make their dens? *How long do the cubs stay with their mother bear? We will use these facts to write our own short stories about bears. We will talk about how to start and end a short story and review parts of speech (nouns, verbs, and adjectives).
