I will teach kids ages 4-7 fun stretches and warm ups in the beginning of each class. Kids will learn basic ballet moves in each class along with basic tap dance moves in each class. I am very engaging and energetic and focus on the dancers having fun while learning. I let the dancers be kids so if they want to roll around the room for a few seconds we might just do that. I will teach dance movements with "learn with fun" in mind. Learners may be asked to work on a particular ballet and tap moves for homework. Parents are encouraged to practice the in class ballet and taps moves with their learner. Learners may be asked to interact with me by showing me what they are learning in each class and/or demonstrate what the homework assignment was. Learners do not have to have any experience to join my class.
Learning Goals
Learners will learn: kid-friendly stretches and warm-ups, basic ballet and tap moves and terms. Learners will learn how to take turns watching each other perform dance moves.

Parental Guidance
Parents to ensure the safest dance environment I recommend the following for your dancers: provide your dancer with an opened-spaced room with room to move from side to side, front to back, and room to twirl without harming themselves with room objects. Ballet slippers are recommended for the ballet portion of each class. Tap shoes are recommended for the tap portion of each class. If dancers do not have ballet or tap shoes, slip proof socks are recommended. Parents are asked to properly supervise dancers at all during dance class to ensure they are safe and having fun.

I have over 15 years experience working with kids of all ages inside my local church, community, public and private schools.
