This class will review the algebra and geometry topics needed for a strong start into Precalculus.

This lesson covers finding the inverse of a function both graphically and algebraically.

Special Right Triangles
This lesson reviews 45-45-90 and 30-60-90 triangles and introduces how they are used on the unit circle.

This lesson reviews sine, cosine, and tangent and introduces how they are applied on the unit circle.
Lesson 6
This lesson covers how to break vectors into their components.
Learners will refresh their skills in algebra and geometry skills needed to be successful in precalculus
I have taught high school math from pre-algebra through AP Calculus AB for many years. I am a certified mathematics teacher for grades 8-12 in Maryland.
Homework Offered
A set of practice problems will be posted along with the lesson on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday or each week. Students can choose to complete these problems and check their answers with the solution video that will be posted along with the next lesson. The final solution set will be posted on Sunday of the second week.

The student should be comfortable graphing polynomial and rational functions and solving right triangles using the trigonometric functions. These skills are typically taught in Algebra 2 and Geometry classes.

The web-based graphing calculator on Desmos may be used by students if they do not have access to a handheld graphing calculator. No account is required.
