Learners will use various sources such as mentor texts, step-by-step guides, photo prompts, and opinion questions to guide and inspire their writing.

The List: A Different Kind of Critical Review
In this lesson, learners will have a choice to write their own curated Top 3/5/10 movie, book, restaurant, album, theatrical production, video game, dance performance, TV show. 50 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Informational ‘How-To’ Writing
In this lesson, learners will be writing a research-based "How To" informational text that teaches the readers something. 50 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Open Letter - Argumentative Writing
In this lesson, learners will read examples of published open letters that show protest or appeal. They will compose their own Open Letter. 50 mins online live lesson
