Basic Design for Kids
In this one time session, kids will develop solutions for 2dimensional design problems. At the end of the class, they will have a 2d unique abstract piece completed.

Basic design for kids is a method created by me who has more than 20 years of experience in design education in university. As a professor of urban studies and design I have the rights to apply this method as I registered it as a utility model. I had also many times organized workshops where I use this technique. Depending on rule based design studio perspective participants will design 2 d design problems within a limited time. In doing so developing alternatives and having different perspectives will be main concern. 2 d frames will be sent before the class to be printed out so that particiapants will be ready to complete the task.

a one page handout will be emailed before the class to be printed out. Other materials will be ruler and drawing pencils.
