Do you aspire to dance in a Ballroom under the sparkle of a glitter ball like they do on 'Dancing with the Stars' or 'Strictly Come Dancing'? Students will learn basic Latin American and Ballroom technique in dances including Cha Cha Cha, Tango, Samba, Waltz, Charleston and Jive.
I have been teaching dance for over 25 years. I am a qualified professional dance teacher with the NCDTA International (Northern Counties Dance Teachers Association, UK) and the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association). I have taught all ages of Ballroom from young to adult. I am currently the Children's Program Director of a Dance Studio in the USA. I competed in Ballroom all over the U.K. until I turned Professional to pursue a teaching career during which time I have trained many Ballroom competitors successfully winning events around the U.K. I also taught the Ballroom and Latin American Society at Durham University teaching hundreds of students every week for many years before moving to the USA. I am also a fan of 'Dancing With The Stars' and followed the UK version 'Strictly Come Dancing'; even appearing on the BBC show in some fun features!
