In this class, children will follow along with the teacher to make their own homemade playdough. The teacher will lead the class in a discussion about how we measure out ingredients and the students will make their way through the recipe with the support of the teacher. Students will need measuring cups, a spoon, and a mixing bowl. Children will need the support of an adult to measure the ingredients and pour the hot water. We will conclude the class with some social time, exploration, and playdough fun!
Learning Goals
Students will practice measurement, gain social experience, all while making their own playdough!

Parental Guidance
Parents will need to support the child with the boiling water for safety and with measuring materials for accuracy.
Supply List
Flour, salt, cocoa powder, boiling water, oil, vanilla.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
