Class experience
In this class, students will learn how to make chocolate chip cookies from scratch. Previous baking skills are ideal, this class is a great start for kids who want to learn how to bake. However, any student who loves to bake is encouraged to join. This will be a hands-on experience. Students will be taken through the process of making cookies from start to finish. 1 c. butter softened 1 c. white sugar 1 c. packed brown sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla extract 1 tsp baking soda 2 tsp hot water 1 tsp cinnamon (optional) 1/2 tsp. salt 3 c. flour 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (milk chocolate works too) 1 c. walnuts (Optional) Hand or stand mixer (a whisk will work too) Cookie sheets Parchment Paper Small scoop or 2 "Table" spoons
