Class Experience

Please read all of the Descriptions before enrolling. :)

*This camp is a little different each summer!*

This class is for the Marvel lovers who also love Lego and some space science. We will dive into some fun with Marvel and the Avengers but we will incorporate Lego in a few of the days. Students will get to have some fun while having fun discussion about their favorite Marvel movies and topics. If you have NOT seen all of the Avengers movies and End Game, there might be spoilers, but other than that, all students are welcome.

I will provide some fun activities to do throughout the camp, in class and outside of class. The goal is to join students who love of Avengers and Marvel together but get them hands-on and outside this summer. I will upload all documents for each week to class and you can access them there. You can print documents or use them right off the computer if needed. If you do not have access to a printer, then you can copy down the info for the scavenger hunts and games. They will want to be able to mark things off and write on the paper. Students will have plenty of fun activities through the weeks to keep them busy. I have scavenger hunts, things that go with their movies, and more. We have a blast in here talking about the things we love most: Lego and Avengers!

Here is the layout for the week:

Class 1
-Ice Breaker question and Introductions
-Discussion on Marvel and ULTIMATE TRIVIA!
-Ultimate Building Challenge (Marvel Related and revealed in class)
-I will ask fun questions throughout the class and we will have solid discussion and then some Avengers music while they build.

Class 2
-Students show their builds from the previous class.
-Discussion on galaxies and the universe and the mysteries of space. We will see some cool videos and pictures of space and the galaxies that live around us. This is a very fun and interactive lesson with discussions of space. We will relate this to the Avengers and Marvel Universe and have some fun discussion.
-Building challenge (Marvel and Science related and revealed in class)
-I will ask fun questions throughout the class and we will have a solid discussion and then some Avengers music while they build.

Class 3
-Students will show their Lego build from the previous class.
-We will then do some epic Marvel Jeopardy trivia and a few other fun things like "Would You Rather!"
-We will end class by making a galaxy jar. Please check the Supply list for supplies you will need.

Hope to see you there!

I have been a Marvel fan since I was young and read the comics as a kid. I love Marvel and I love using that to teach valuable information that students need in school. I also love Lego and host a popular Lego building competition. I enjoy allowing them to be creative while boosting their ability to have solid discussions about topics.
