This class is a four week course where students will meet once per week to socialize with peers. Each week will have a different topic for all of us to chat about. We will be working on social and communication skills!

Hello and welcome! I am Ms. Sedivy! This will be a four week course where every week we will have a new topic of discussion. My goal for this course is to create a meaningful space where we can all practice socializing with peers and meeting new people. This course will be conversation based to help students with real life experiences of speaking and listening to others. Classes will be student led to help grow confidence within each student. Topics: Week of August 6th: Favorite animals Week of August 13th: Favorite sport Week of August 20th: Favorite food Week of August 27th: Favorite game Example of conversation: - What is your favorite animals? - Why is ______ your favorite? - Do you know any facts about you animal? There will be plenty of chances for everyone to share, ask questions, and make new friends! I love animals and can't wait to chat! I hope you join!!

Welcome! I am Jena Sedivy. I try to make my classes fun and enjoyable for students. I believe that students should be having fun while also learning! I like to have small classes to really be able to talk and work with each student!
I have my bachelors degree in special education LBS1. I teach at my local primary school in a life skills based classroom. I teach kindergarten to 5th grader students with disabilities. I am certified to teach any student with an IEP from kindergarten to 12th grade. I have been a teacher for 2 years and I have loved it!! I am also our local high schools girls basketball coach.
In my free time I love to play pickle ball with my friends, hang out with my cats, and bake treats! I hope to see your students in my class!!Reviews
