Hey Family!
My name is Mr. Kris, born and raised in Las Vegas, NV šµ, and Iāve been walking alongside young people for over 15 yearsāteaching, mentoring, and creating spaces where our kids can feel safe, smart, and seen. I believe every child carries brilliance inside of them, and itās my calling to help bring that out.
In my classes, we mix knowledge with life lessons. For my younger students, that might look like turning math and reading into games that build confidence and joy. For my teens, we get real about what it means to navigate school, stress, leadership, and preparing for the future. We donāt just learn to pass a testāwe learn to stand tall, know our worth, and use our voices. šš„
Iāve served as a Program Director with the Boys and Girls Club, led government-funded college readiness programs, and built safe spaces through my nonprofit performing arts company š where young people could tell their stories and celebrate who they are. Iāve also guided workshops in leadership, communication, and social-emotional learning, because our kids deserve more than academicsāthey deserve life skills that empower them long after class ends.
My mission is rooted in community: to uplift, inspire, and teach with love, joy, and cultural pride. Every lesson I bring to Outschool is built on the belief that learning should affirm who you are and remind you that greatness already lives within you. š
