In this course on athletes' nutrition, we'll explore essential topics for fueling your body for peak performance. You’ll learn about the role of key nutrients like calcium, the five food groups, and how to time your meals for maximum energy. We’ll also debunk common sports nutrition myths and provide practical guidelines to enhance your training and recovery. Our class will be engaging and interactive, using tools like Canva presentations and in-class discussions to foster active participation. Led by expert instructors in nutrition, the course creates a supportive, inclusive environment for all learners. We aim to make sure everyone feels encouraged and empowered as they deepen their understanding of nutrition. Throughout the course, you’ll collaborate with peers through group activities, worksheets, and real-world applications. Assessments, including quizzes, worksheets, and weekly assignments, will help reinforce key concepts and evaluate your understanding.
