This course will help you learn more ASL signs and get better at having different kinds of conversations in ASL. You'll have quizzes and a final test to show what you've learned.Grading
Grades will be based on quizzes and reviews assigned to students. While grades are optional and students do not have to complete the homework, doing so is very helpful for their progress.Class Experience

Beginner Level
Welcome to ASL Kids Club! 🤟🏼- SOME VOICE / NO VOICE- DEAF & HH TEACHERS We’re excited to have you join our ASL Level 3 course, designed for students aged 13-18. Over the next 8 weeks, you’ll participate in 30-minute classes that will help you take your ASL skills to the next level. Guided by our experienced Deaf and hard-of-hearing teachers, you’ll dive deeper into ASL grammar, expressions, and storytelling techniques, all while building your confidence. This course offers a mix of voice and no-voice instruction to ensure you fully engage in visual communication and gain a strong connection with the language. You’ll also explore various aspects of Deaf culture and participate in real-world scenarios to strengthen your conversational skills. By the end of ASL Level 3, you'll feel confident navigating more complex conversations and using ASL in a variety of settings. Several of our teachers are Deaf, bringing invaluable perspectives and authentic experiences to our program. This diversity enhances our teaching approach, providing students with a deeper understanding and appreciation of American Sign Language and Deaf culture.
Ms.Trina is the founder of ASL Kids Club and has over 20 years of experience teaching and working in school districts with both Deaf and hearing children. This extensive background has allowed her to hand-select each teacher to ensure that students receive top-tier instruction.
Our educators boast impressive credentials and experiences:
- One teacher has spent over two decades as an Educational Interpreter and Tutor, working closely with deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Their passion for sign language is driven by personal experiences with Deaf family members.
- Another teacher is proficient in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, American Sign Language, and Nicaraguan Sign Language. With over 10 years of teaching experience, they have served in various roles such as teaching, assisting, and mentoring students and interpreters.
- We also have a Deaf educator with expertise in speech, lipreading, and sign language. Their patience and kindness have positively impacted many students through their work as a tutor and assistant teacher at the School for the Deaf.
Together, our team is committed to providing an enriching ASL learning experience that accommodates diverse backgrounds and fosters growth.
