At Ms.Trina's ASL Kids Club, our focus lies in delivering exceptional sign language classes for children aged 3-18. What sets us apart is our team of Deaf teachers who bring a profound understanding of both American Sign Language (ASL) and effective teaching methods.
Whether your child is interested in mastering ASL or integrating sign language into academic exploration, our classes are thoughtfully designed to cater to their individual needs. We recognize the value of personalized attention, which is why we offer private 1-on-1 tutoring sessions aimed at refining and enhancing sign language skills.
Our group sign language classes are designed to accommodate up to 10 students, creating a lively and interactive setting where children can truly excel in their ASL communication abilities.
At the heart of ASL Kids Club is our belief in infusing learning with fun and enjoyment. We understand that fostering a positive and engaging environment is essential for effective learning outcomes.
Meet Our Teachers!
The ASL Kids Club is proud to offer an exceptional learning experience guided by a team of highly skilled and certified teachers. Our instructors include nationally certified interpreters, seasoned educators, and experienced tutors, ensuring that every student receives the highest quality education.
Several of our teachers are Deaf, bringing invaluable perspectives and authentic experiences to our program. This diversity enhances our teaching approach, providing students with a deeper understanding and appreciation of American Sign Language and Deaf culture.
Ms.Trina is the founder of ASL Kids Club and has over 20 years of experience teaching and working in school districts with both Deaf and hearing children. This extensive background has allowed her to hand-select each teacher to ensure that students receive top-tier instruction.
Our educators boast impressive credentials and experiences:
- One teacher has spent over two decades as an Educational Interpreter and Tutor, working closely with deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Their passion for sign language is driven by personal experiences with Deaf family members.
- Another teacher is proficient in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, American Sign Language, and Nicaraguan Sign Language. With over 10 years of teaching experience, they have served in various roles such as teaching, assisting, and mentoring students and interpreters.
- We also have a Deaf educator with expertise in speech, lipreading, and sign language. Their patience and kindness have positively impacted many students through their work as a tutor and assistant teacher at the School for the Deaf.
Together, our team is committed to providing an enriching ASL learning experience that accommodates diverse backgrounds and fosters growth.
