Introducing ASL Kids Club's accomplished team of ASL instructors:

- **Ms. Trina:** With a career spanning over two decades, Ms. Trina boasts extensive experience as an Educational Interpreter and Tutor, having closely worked with deaf and hard of hearing students across various school districts. Her enthusiasm for sign language is evident, fueled by her own Deaf family members.

- **Ms. Lisa Marie:** Ms. Lisa Marie brings a unique linguistic perspective, being proficient in English, Spanish, American Sign Language, and Nicaraguan Sign Language. Her teaching journey of more than 10 years has encompassed roles in teaching, assisting, and mentoring students and interpreters.

Details: Homework assignments in this course will be diverse and based on classroom activities. Each week, students will have the option to engage in various forms of homework, including practicing their skills through provided links or uploading videos of themselves completing sign language assignments. Participation in these assignments is not mandatory but is highly beneficial for skill enhancement. Additionally, some homework may be accessible through Nearpod, for which no account creation is required. The intention is to offer students flexible opportunities to practice and reinforce their learning every week, although completing these assignments is not a requirement for all students.

Frequency: Available upon request
Details: Quizzes will be administered at the conclusion of each unit to monitor and evaluate the progress of our students in American Sign Language (ASL).

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
I will be using outside websites such as Canva and Youtube to assist in learning,  playing interactive games, and tools to help manage slide show presentations, flashcards, videos, and quiz games.
