Arts & Crafts with Mrs. Morris: Sponge Painted Fall Tree
In this fall arts & craft class, we will be painting a fall tree. We will use a paint brush to paint the tree trunk and branches. Then we will use a sponge to "tap" our fall leaves onto the tree.

There is nothing more beautiful than the bright and vibrant colors of fall leaves. In this class, we will work step by step to paint a fall tree. This will be a somewhat of an abstract approach, so all artist levels are welcome to create together. We will work step by step to paint a tree trunk with branches, and then use sponges and different colored paint to dab "leaves." At the beginning class, we will be learning about why leaves turn colors in the fall and discussing our favorite fall activities. *In my craft/art classes no experience is necessary. I let learners know that each of us are unique artists therefore our art will not look identical. I encourage individual style and that we can embrace our art even if there are imperfections.* **Please feel free to send a date/time request for a class you're interested in. I do schedule out classes in advance but I am flexible to switch that around if there are no conflicting enrollments.**

-White piece of paper or canvas -Paint Brush -Sponge (I suggest cutting into three strips) -Red, orange, yellow, green and brown paint -Plate/tray to pour paint on

I offer both cooking and baking classes that meet every other week. Baking and cooking are two skills that are important to learn, but fun and rewarding as well! To make a meal or baked goods for your family/friends to enjoy is one of the best feelings, and I love to help my learners experience that feeling. It's also a great opportunity to branch out of our comfort zone and try new recipes!
