Some Visual Arts Standards are included! 5th Grade Visual Arts Standards: - Combine ideas to generate an innovative idea for art-making. - Identify and demonstrate diverse methods of artistic investigation to choose an approach for beginning a work of art. - Demonstrate quality craftsmanship through care for and use of materials, tools, and equipment. - Create artist statements using art vocabulary to describe personal choices in art-making. 6th Grade Visual Arts Standards: - Demonstrate openness in trying new ideas, materials, methods, and approaches in making works of art and design. - Analyze how art reflects changing times, traditions, resources, and cultural uses.
Homework Offered
The projects will possibly take additional time after the student finishes the videos. The video is taught as a quill-a-long, but if the student doesn't finish it at the same speed at the teacher, additional time will be needed.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
