Learners will enjoy an art themed story time and create a piece of guided artwork based on that reading and art style. Lesson and reading will be interactive- I encourage sharing of ideas, questions, and suggestions. During this session we will read "The Cat and the Bird" inspired by the artist Paul Klee written by Geraldine Elschner, discuss how we can create art using shapes, all of the different shapes we know, and create a piece of artwork inspired by the illustrator's and Paul Klee's artwork. Materials needed: paper, pencil, any coloring tools. Optional materials: colored pencils, markers, colored paper, scissors, glue
