1 hour per week. Sometimes students need a little extra time to finesse or color, or even retry a piece. And so that's why I give at least zero to 1 hour for students that might need a little bit of extra time. Ann also in case they need to reach out for additional feedback from their teacher.Progress Report
There's no really grades to have in art. However, I do like to give feedback as well as. Commentary after every single class of that way to parents feel part of the loop, as well as aware of what they can ask their kid about from our art session.Class Experience
1. **What will be taught?** In this class, learners will explore foundational art techniques, including drawing, shading, composition, and creative expression. We’ll also cover elements of art (line, shape, color, texture) and how to use them effectively in projects. 2. **What topics will you cover?** Check the Syllabus 3. **How is your class structured?** Each session is divided into: - A short warm-up activity to boost creativity (e.g., quick sketches or fun challenges). - A guided lesson where new techniques are demonstrated step-by-step. - Time for independent practice, with feedback and guidance provided. - A wrap-up discussion to review progress and ask questions. 4. **How will you teach?** I’ll use a mix of live demonstrations, visual aids (slides and examples), and hands-on activities. Every class emphasizes practice and experimentation. I encourage students to embrace mistakes as part of the learning process and to personalize their work. 5. **What's your teaching style?** My style is interactive, patient, and encouraging. I focus on building confidence by breaking tasks into manageable steps and making the process enjoyable. I also value student input, encouraging creativity and individual expression throughout. 6. **How much will learners get to interact with you?** Learners will interact with me throughout the session: - During live demonstrations, they can ask questions in real-time. - Through games or quick challenges to apply concepts. - In one-on-one feedback sessions during practice time. - During wrap-up discussions, where we reflect on their progress.
