Scribble art is all about exploring various lines and creating drawings from your imagination. In this class, we will tackle different types of scribble drawings to teach about lines and creativity. *First Project: Learn how to turn any scribble into a character. *Second Project: Draw several scribbles across a page and see what we can create from them. Students will then choose to design either an abstract piece or a realistic picture from their scribble drawings. These classes can be taken as a one-time session or as part of an ongoing series where we rotate through different art lessons. Materials Needed:** Plenty of drawing paper, colored pencils, crayons, and markers. Debbie

Welcome! My name is Debbie and I am a certified teacher with a Bachelors of Science in Education with a concentration in the visual arts. I also hold Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on math and science. I have been lucky enough throughout my career to have taught grades K through 6 and be a math and reading interventionist. Math is one of my favorite subjects to teach and I love thinking of creative ways to get students to love it too and gain confidence.
