Class Experience
In this class we will learn to draw simple, adorable cartoon animals! Each class we will focus on drawing a different animal using basic shapes and simple strokes. This class focuses on line drawing. No drawing experience is needed, but like all art experience is likely to result in more polished artwork. Perfect for beginner artists or more experienced learners who just love drawing animals! Colour will not be part of the lesson, but if there is time at the end of the lesson learners are...
Learners will learn how to draw simple animals using shapes as a base. Learners will learn a few facts about each animal. Learners will learn patience and persistence.
Learners are encouraged to colour their drawings for homework, if they want to add colour. If the learner does not finish the line art in class I will expect them to finish it for homework.
Pencil Good eraser (ideally one that can erase small spaces) Sketchbook or paper Scrap paper Fine Felt tipped pen (optional for final lines) Coloured pencils or makers will be needed for learners who with to colour their drawings for homework.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
