In this art adventure, students will follow a guided lesson to create a dragon book - including a map, dragon creation, and facts/details about the dragon they made! About 24hrs before class I will send worksheets that can be printed and used to create our Dragon Field Guide Booklet. We will draw, design, and create step-by-step - at the end of class, everyone will have a chance to be 'spotlighted' to share their creations. I tell my students that my creation is just an example of what they can make- they are encouraged to use their imaginations and creativity in this class! They can make any changes or substitutions they want. Schedule: 1. Review worksheets, set up field guide 2. Draw Dragon Land Map 3. Create Dragon(s) and add facts/details Students can keep their microphones on, so they can socialize with me and the other students through out the class, but it is not required - as some are not comfortable with it. I will be drawing digitally on the computer, so everyone has a good view of what is being drawn. This is a fun and easy class, so no drawing experience is required! Supplies: - Printed Worksheets - Blank Paper - Pencil - Eraser - Scissors - Glue Stick or Tape - Colored Pencils or Crayons The class may run a few minutes shorter if the class is not full.

Hello Families!
My name is Nicole - my students usually call me Ms. Cole. I graduated from ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts with a double major in Design Studies - with a focus in 3D modeling and digital fabrication; and the other in Art Studies - with a focus in fashion and studio art.
I have a passion for the arts and really enjoy creating with clay and drawing in my free time. I love teaching fashion, drawing, and art classes; as well as early learning foundations for preschool and pre-k.
I am a multi-certified lead teacher for toddlers, preschool, and pre-k. I taught preschool and pre-k for five years, and I absolutely loved it!
I am a homeschool mom to my amazing daughter who keeps me on my toes and helps me come up with exciting new class ideas all the time.
I can't wait to see you in class!
