Create your very own colorful collage egg, just in time for Easter! This egg is made from watercolor paper and layered with beautiful pieces of tissue paper, torn and cut into flower shapes. The layers of tissue create a "stained glass" effect that will surprise your child. Beautiful enough to hang on a wall, this egg will cheer up any room! *****What You Need: Watercolor paper Watercolor paint Paintbrush White glue Multi-color tissue paper cut into 3" x 3" squares Scissors Pencil Paper towel ******Safe Scissors Use****** Focus on the task at hand when using scissors. Stop using the scissors if you want to look up. When using scissors, cut in a direction away from your body and fingers, hands, arms, and legs. Do not attempt to catch a dropped pair of scissors. ***What to do: The teacher will show learners what to do. Learners will be asked to draw an egg shape on watercolor paper. Brush clear water over the egg and blot the water with a paper towel. Use light-colored watercolor paints to paint in the egg and allow it to dry completely. Create a stack of six sheets of tissue paper, of different colors. Sketch a flower shape on the top piece of tissue, and the flowers out of the entire stack Repeat this with at least three different types of flowers. Cut out the egg and then glue down the tissue flowers you have cut out on top of the egg. Layer them on top of each other to create a layered, colorful effect.

2. Parent should assess if the learner is ready to use scissors. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors, glue, paint, and colors.

Hello! I am teacher Nen, I am excited to teach at Outschool. I have an engineering degree. My passion is MATH and family. I am experienced in tutoring students from K-8. I also have experience in classroom settings and Montessori. I enjoy teaching young learners. I help students to develop interest, curiosity, and confidence with math or basic study skills, I break material down into easy-to-understand concepts. I love helping with homework, lessons, exam preparation, and providing enrichment to students of various levels.
I am comfortable explaining math to elementary students or working with a kindergartener. I am committed to assessing students according to their needs and difficulties and making sure that they can catch up on math topics where they have fallen behind.
I have tutored students working to earn above average in math and turned to excel. I know how important it is to make the student feel relaxed, which in turn helps them become ready to learn.
I find tutoring a rewarding experience. Being part of a student’s success is a priceless accomplishment.
Fun facts about me, I love the outdoor. I love biking with my kids, tobogganing, exploring nature, visiting gardens, and lakes, and most of all I always get excited with giant water slides! :)
