Class Experience
Not an artist and not a writer either, but very creative in your own way. This 4-week flex lesson allows your learner time to be creative through weekly art challenge/activities. The first art activity/challenge is discussed and demonstrated in a pre-recording for the class start day. The learners will have the opportunity to complete the activity/challenge during days 1 through 4 and then on days 5 through 7 - show, share and discuss their art through classroom postings. The next art activity/challenge is discussed and demonstrated in a pre-recording and then uploaded the same day the following week. A scavenger hunt is the starting point for each art activity/challenge each week for the learners to create their art piece in their sketchbook. This informal art class allows your learner to take a break from their hectic schedule and slow down to create their own personal art. A pre-recorded activity/challenge discussion is uploaded each week. The learners will write, paint, collage or draw the activity/ challenge in their sketch book. Each week the learners will post their completed work for show, share and discussion. The process of putting together their page in a unique format will be demonstrated and encouraged throughout each week. Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello families,
My name is Ms. Paula . I am excited to be your learner’s new teacher with Outschool. I am looking forward to our time together in class. My interests are vast, but I am focusing on math (multiplication more specifically) and tutoring sessions for learners that either want to learn, want to have better recall or build additional confidence in their multiplication facts. I love arts and crafts and being creative. I bring a creative twist to my classes. Respect, kindness and patience are important to me; these traits I bring to each class. With gratitude, I am in awe of the OutSchool platform that allows learners to really enjoy interesting topics presented in various ways for learner comprehension and fun.
My education background includes a Bachelor of Arts. My studies included a major in English and a minor in Psychology (a great learning base for working with learners of all ages). I value learning through fun and demonstration where open and respectful discussions can occur. My travel background taught me plenty, as I lived in Dubai as a flight attendant for several years where I further developed my interest in fitness: power walking and now running.
I am looking forward to meeting your learner in my class; a space for understanding, fun, respect and gratitude.
Cheers,
Ms. Paula (or Ms. P)
