In this 3-day multi-day art camp, the students will be learning about a new object we see during the summertime. The students will be shown an accurate picture of the summer object. The student can tell the class what they like about that summer object. The students will be making a new summer object by using polymer clay ( please see the schedule) . I will be doing the art projects with the students. At the end of the class, the students can show their clay art project to the class. Day 1:Beach ball: The students will be making a clay beach ball with different colours of clay. Day 2: Sunglasses: The students will be making a design on their clay sunglasses. Day 3: Watermelon: The students will be making a small and big clay watermelon.

Please supervise your student when they are doing their clay art project by making sure you are not on the camera.

Hello my name is Samara. I live in Montreal and have been a Preschool educator for the past 5 years.
In my classes , learners will have a consistent place to gather and learn that focuses on developmental skills which include fine motor , gross motor , cognitive , language and literacy, social and emotions . Let's learn shapes, colors , letters names , letters sounds , art , counting and so much more.
I have my Diploma of College Studies in Early Childhood Education degree from Vanier College in Montreal . I am a certified educator in Early Childhood Education with students aged 3 -5 years old. I have a certification in the highly successful Handwriting Without Tears and Lively Letters.
I am a proud and passionate Preschool educator. I have a natural love of teaching and bring patience and enthusiasm to the classroom. I have a great pleasure in helping students reach their developmental milestones.
My philosophy is that students' interests matter and they learn best when they have an effective relationship with their educator. I believe that students learn and strive at their own pace. I make learning fun and stimulating while focusing on the development milestones. I attempt to make learning play based , hands -on experience and child led . I have a great enjoyment to make classes play based, hands- on experience , child - led and engaging for each student . The students will build self- confidence and a sense of self- esteem in my classes. I do ensure a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling , reading, baking and spending quality time with my friends and family.
