Class Experience

Beginner Level
Join me through a creative journey around the world learning about different art created in many different locations. Learn why creativity is important to all people and then try all the different art techniques we learn about. Each week we travel to a new destination to find how different people express themselves. Students will then get to try these exciting new art techniques to create masterpieces of their own. Through interactive slide shows and engaging videos students will see various types of art from around the world. We will discuss how the art can express different emotions, stories and feelings and then create a piece of art using these different methods. Please refer to the class syllabus below for the details of each weeks lesson, tailored to students in grades 3-6. Late enrollment is allowed for this class. I will provide a detailed supply list upon enrollment, I try to use materials you find around the house or that you already have but occasionally you will have to purchase or find specific supplies. I will include links to these supplies. You can click the Ask a Question Button with any questions. Join us on this creative journey and create new art!
