Prior knowledge needed: Students must be able to identify a NOUN (a word that describes a person, place, or thing) and a VERB (an action word) in a sentence. Students will (1) define an "adjective," "noun," and "pronoun," (2) use an eight-step process to draw a unicorn, and (3) brainstorm aloud sentences containing adjectives to describe unicorns.
