In this winter festive 8-week Art and Craft Club, students will work on fun and easy winter art projects each week. All classes will be step-by-step guided. We will draw, paint, color, cut, glue, and decorate a lot! To make craft projects we will use different media and materials. This is the time when students can use their favorite decorative supplies like sparkling beads, decorative paper, tassels, glitter, pompoms, modeling clay, ribbons, rhinestones, yarn, chenille stem pipe cleaner,...
*Please, try not to use printer/copy paper. Sometimes children get frustrated and disappointed as it absorbs water quickly and gets floppy* Please take a moment to review the material required for the classes. Class 1 - Cardboard box (for example, old cereal boxes, tissue boxes, boxes from pasta, pizza, cookies, popsicles, crackers, any boxes that you can find in your pantry), a small stick, colored markers, black and white gel pens, scissors (Parental Guidance required), yarn, tape. Class 2 - Coloured or decorative paper, colored markers, black and white gel pens, scissors (Parental Guidance required), 2 paperclips, tape, chenille stem pipe cleaner. Class 3 - Watercolor paper, paintbrush, watercolors, white oil pastel or crayon, water cup, glitter (optional). Class 4 - Origami or decorative paper, colored markers, black and white gel pens (optional). Class 5 - White paper, set of colored modeling clay. Class 6 - White paper, colored markers, black and white gel pens (optional), scissors (Parental Guidance required), glue stick. Class 7 - White paper, decorative or colored paper, scissors (Parental Guidance required), glue, black, and white gel pens (optional). Class 8 - Decorative or colored paper, colored markers, black and white gel pens (optional), glue, tassels, beads, yarn, scissors (Parental Guidance required). For each day I recommend having a washcloth, scrap paper, or paper towels nearby!
