Lesson 3:
The Legislative Branch
Introduction to the Legislative Branch
Qualifications and terms for members of Congress.
Discussion of qualifications for Legislatures, and the roles and responsibilities of Congress. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Structure and Functions of Congress
Differences between the House of Representatives and the Senate.

I hold an Arizona State Teacher's Certificate, with certification to teach middle school, grades 6-8, as well as an endorsement in Social Studies, which allows me to teach History and Civics in the state of Arizona at the middle school level. This course is specifically geared towards 8th grade students, as the State of Arizona opened this requirement to students in 8th grade so that they do not have to take this requirement in high school.
